Following the release of Minaj’s “Likkle Miss Remix” music video featuring Skeng, YouTube issued an infringement notice blocking the video from being accessed by viewers under the age of 18. The restrictions didn’t sit well with the 39-year-old singer as she took to Instagram on Monday to call out the video platform.

According to the New York Post, Minaj was notified via a YouTube infringement notice that her content had been reviewed and deemed not “appropriate for a younger audience.” The notice further states that the content will not be visible to users under the age of 18, logged out and those operating in Restricted Mode.

However, he has since deleted the Instagram post.

He went on to state that they do this “to prevent you from winning” and at the same time post ads for other people and post “FAKE FKING STATS.”

In a subsequent post, which she also deleted, Minaj wrote that the ban on her video was aimed at stopping her from getting “a lot of views in the first 24 hours.” He believes the restriction is a deliberate move to prevent him from getting more views on his videos. He went on to say that people are allowed to use his videos to “promote lame bullshit”, but he can’t buy promotion for his videos.

In both of her since-deleted Instagram posts, Minaj hinted at a conspiracy by discussing the preferences of certain record labels and management companies. He first wrote that the YouTube platform was “in bed with record labels and certain mngmnt [sic] company.”

Attaching the same screenshot as he did in his first post, the singer tagged YouTube’s official Instagram account in his second post and wrote (per NYP) that it’s time for YouTube management to tell people that they’re “in bed with the whole record label and company mnngmnt!!!” Clarifying his earlier post about statistics and false advertising, he questioned how long they had been playing with numbers to deceive and admitted that people do better “when they don’t?!?!”
