Alec Baldwin may not be in the best place, professionally, since the tragic shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust,” but that’s not stopping him from living his best personal life yet. Baldwin, pictured with his wife Hilaria and all his young children with him, has previously written about how his family kept him alive during difficult times.

On October 21, 2021, Alec Baldwin was manning a prop gun on the set of the movie “Rust” that he produced and starred in. He accidentally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, causing her death, as well as wounding director Joel Souza. The prop gun was apparently loaded, which violated safety protocol on set and while Baldwin admitted to feeling very guilty for having thoughts of killing himself, he has denied responsibility, stating that live rounds should never have been allowed on set in the first place.

In September, Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies allegedly mentioned, in a letter that they were ‘prepared’ to file charges against four people, which may include Alec Baldwin. That said, Baldwin’s attorney Luke Nikas has stated “the DA has made it clear that he has not received the sheriff’s report or made any decisions about who, if anyone, might be charged in this case.”
Today, Alec Baldwin has to be a relieved man after Matthew Hutchins announced that he was dropping his wrongful death lawsuit and that ‘terms have been reached.’ Production on ‘Rust’ is also likely to resume in January so there is good news all around.

Matthew Hutchins said in a statement, “I have no interest in getting involved in accusations or accusations of blame (to producers or Mr. Baldwin). We all believe Halyna’s death was a terrible accident. I am grateful that the producers and entertainment community have come together to pay tribute to Halyna’s last work.”

Just days after his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, 38, gave birth to their seventh child, daughter Ilaria, Baldwin took to Instagram to talk about his family and how they are the reason for his life.
In a post that included a photo of his first child with Hilaria, Alec Baldwin wrote, “These children. They were all born in 212. The same hospital. The first four in the same room. The last three in the same room, but different.
My heart has been broken a thousand times in the past year. And things in my life will probably never be the same. Many changes are coming. But my family has kept me alive. They are my reason for living.”
He also yells at his wife, saying she is one of his reasons for living as well.

Alec Baldwin and Hilaria have certainly realized their dream of a big family and have seven children now, with Baldwin’s first child with Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin.
Hilaria recently posted a photo of the family with the 7 little ones, with the same caption as, “Our first photo with the littlest Baldwin! What a dream team Baldwinito. Ireland, you are missed and loved.”
The couple shares three daughters, María Lucía Victoria, Carmen Gabriela, and newborn Ilaria Catalina Irena, as well as four sons Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David, and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas.
