Fans Are Relieved As Quavo & Offset Perform On Stage Together For First Time Since Takeoff’s Death

An emotional reunion! Quavo and Offset finally put feud speculation to rest when they teamed up to pay a surprise tribute to their late friend, Takeoff.

The trio is best known for forming the Hip-hop group Migos, the beloved rap crew that took the music industry by storm. However, the youngest member, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, died tragically in November 2022.

Following his death, the future of the surviving bandmates became unclear as the pair were rumored to be on bad terms. However, the performers set aside the differences they considered to honor the life and memory of the deceased artist.

Sunday, June 25, marks the annual celebration of black excellence in the entertainment industry. The 23rd BET Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with incredible performances from the remaining members of Migos.

After a commercial break, the show returns to the raised curtain on a darkened stage. The audience is left to guess what will happen when two figures appear, their identities hidden by the darkness.

The couple stood in front of an image of a space shuttle while a recording of Takeoff’s part of the song “Hotel Lobby” started playing in the background, causing the audience to scream as they knew who the shadowy figure was.

As the Space Shuttle took off, the background was replaced with an enlarged image of the late rapper raising his hands to the sky. This marks the beginning of Quavo and Offset’s performance as they jump into one of Migos’ most popular songs, “Bad & Boujee.”

The “Bodak Yellow” singer expressed her joy at seeing her beau and Quavo take the stage like the good old days. “I can’t take it now…proud of the boys,” the Grammy winner tweeted, emphasized his joy with a short video of a red-eyed man. “That’s what I’m talking about. This shit means a lot to me,” he said between sobs.
