Monty Lopez, the father of TikTok celebrity Addison Rae, is accused of having an affair with a 25-year-old woman that lasted for five months. They reportedly started dating in March through a mutual friend. The woman’s name is Renée Ash. Renée exclusively reveals to Page Six that Monty led her to believe that their relationship meant more.
“Unfortunately, he misled me about his marriage, he lied to me,” Renée told the outlet. She claims that Monty told her that the marriage to his wife Sheri Easterling was over when it wasn’t.
“He told me we were going to be together and have a baby together,” she continued. “He also introduced me to his mother, his youngest sister and I thought we had something real. And, he told me the story of his marriage which convinced me that they were separated and in the process of getting divorced”.
Renée revealed that she broke up with Monty Lopez in early July 2022 after several girls accused the middle-aged influencer of hitting on them in person and even over FaceTime. He added that the last thing was when he saw footage leaked online of Monty allegedly fondling the rear of a girl while out partying who was allegedly 19 years old.
TikTok user @marlig_ who uploaded the video, now deleted, of the young girl claiming, “Addison Rae’s dad tried to seduce me, I swear to God”.
Ash told Page Six, “If anyone gets hurt, it’s me and his family. I am very sorry for that”. He added, “I love him and I trust him. When I found out about the other young girls, my heart broke”. Renée also apologizes for any pain the family has had to endure because of this.
“I’m so sorry if anything I said hurt his family more than he did,” Renée said. “And I’m also sorry that he hurt me so deeply that I believed we were in love”.
A text exchange shows Monty referring to them as the “power couple”. The screenshots that Ash revealed to PageSix show that Monty allegedly made promises to Ash about their future. He shared plans to live with her, marry her, and start a family. The text also indicates that Monty has a “strange relationship” with his wife Sheri and that his relationship with Ash is different.
One text even suggests that Monty “left” his wife for “inviting” and “King F*** with her”. He then warns Renee not to display similar behavior that may lead to the end of their relationship.
Monty also allegedly accused Renee of drinking excessively and flirting with acquaintances of the opposite sex. She called him out for “turning on” him at the time. But now, according to the insider, she feels she’s just “expressing” concerns about her own alleged behavior.
“Any time she talks to a guy, Renée won’t hear the end of it,” the source claims. “Monty will threaten to break up with her because of what she seems to be doing herself”.
Also, there was also a pregnancy scare involved when Ash had two positive urine tests. Renee felt as though she “didn’t get support from” Monty, who allegedly texted back, “You don’t [pregnant]”.
“You handled my pregnancy scare so badly,” she allegedly texted him. “I can’t handle … having two positive tests and [you] completely baffles me… Especially after you keep saying I won’t withdraw [and] I want to marry you”.
“Renée was relieved when her blood test came back negative,” the source said. “She tried to break up with Monty after that, but he started texting her again like crazy and they got back together”.
Monty also texted Renee that more kids “wouldn’t be fun”. Although they had planned a trip to Ibiza, it never happened. But, they went to the South of France at the same time as the alleged children’s conversation. Monty also revealed that he has already chosen a name for their future children.
“We are the chosen people,” he wrote. “I love you … I will always be indebted to you”. But, Monty stopped short of revealing the relationship to the public. The text messages suggest he’s tired of hiding them — even though, the source says, “most of Los Angeles already knows about them”.
In recent weeks, Rae has unfollowed her father on Instagram and Easterling has removed “wife” from her Instagram bio. Meanwhile, Lopez’s bio still includes “Husband to @sherinicole.”
